Nishane Hacivat is an incredible cologne from fragrance house Nishane based out of Istanbul. I’ve had the opportunity to wear this scent on many different occasions. Therefore, it’s worth letting you know why I think it’s an awesome fragrance to buy this year!

Cologne Notes

Nishane Hacivat is described as a chypre fragrance for men. The main cologne notes include bergamot, pineapple, grapefruit, oakmoss, jasmine, cedar and woody notes.

How Does Nishane Hacivat Smell?

When first sprayed on skin, I immediately smell a juicy explosion of citrus from bergamot, grapefruit and pineapple. The opening combination brought by these notes is high quality, vibrant and energetic.

Once the scent starts to develop and dry down, it reveals its woody base. Some of the citruses make way for the oakmoss, jasmine, cedar and woody notes.

The oakmoss is especially prevalent, and adds a bright, earthy element to the underlying mature woody accords.

Additionally, the scent gives off aromatic and creamy vibes coupled with a sophisticated pine wood accord. Although the bergamot and grapefruit dissipate during this stage, the pineapple remains throughout the life of the cologne.

Longevity and Projection

Hacivat is one of the best performing citrus colognes on the market. It truly is a beast of a fragrance. You definitely get your money’s worth and you should be careful not to overspray!

Personally I get 11+ hours of longevity from this fragrance. It projects out from my body for the first 3-5 hours or so.

Occasions and Versatility

Hacivat can easily be worn year round. Outstanding for the hottest summer days and moderate to cooler climates. However, I think there are better options for extremely cold (icy or snowing) days, like Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille.

Hacivat is an exceptional casual event fragrance, and will serve you well during special occasions and dates, too. Think twice about wearing this in the office, unless you want to give your colleagues a punchy whiff of this fresh & masculine aroma.

Very fruity in the opening with grapefruit, pineapple and a light patchouli background. In the drydown, oakmoss appears and take the scent very attractive. I prefer this one over the king aventus
