How does Azzaro The Most Wanted Parfum smell?

The Most Wanted Parfum smells sweet, spicy, and woody. It’s built around a blend of toffee, ginger, bourbon vanilla, and woody amber notes.

The opening:

Straight away you’re hit with a sweet and spicy burst of toffee and ginger. The toffee smells caramelised and decadent but not overwhelming. The original Most Wanted EDP had an extreme amount of sweetness and it’s been toned down here.

Additionally, the ginger adds a spicy kick. It balances the toffee, introducing a warm (yet fresh) dimension.

The mid:

As it settles, the bourbon vanilla begins to shine through. It’s serene and smooth, distinct from the earlier toffee. Also, the interplay between the vanilla and lasting spice creates a harmony that comes across as seductive and grown-up.

The dry down:

In the dry down the spice fully dissipates. However, some of the sexy vanilla endures, now united with a woody amber base. The woods here are much more prominent than in past Azzaro releases, and give off a seductive masculine energy.

The Most Wanted Parfum smells sexy and alluring. It takes the Wanted DNA in a smoother, more mature direction. It still has the trademark sweetness but it’s much more balanced and never becomes cloying. It’s in the same ballpark as Armani Stronger With You Absolutely.

This instantly became my favorite in the entire Wanted line, and dare I say is Azzaro’s masterpiece. It takes the best parts of The Most Wanted and Wanted By Night and mixes them together to form one ultra sexy hybrid.

It doesn’t try to be anything but the sweet mainstream bullshit all the designers put out these days. YET! It’s the one that does it best. It’s fresh despite being syrupy sweet, a little smoky, a little bitter. It breathes. I absolutely love it.

Its sweet and spicy profile makes it perfect for dates, close encounters, or anytime you want to make a seductive mark. While it may be too heavy for hot summer wear, its versatility does allow it to shine in moderate conditions.

If you own this there’s no need to purchase any other sweet, caramelised-type scent that covers the same settings. A good example is Stronger With You Intensely, which you can avoid if you grab this.

On my skin, it projects moderately for 5 hours, leaving a noticeable scent trail. It then settles closer to the skin, where it lasts for another 5 hours, making up 10 hours of total longevity.
