Mancera Instant Crush is a recently released fragrance that has appeared on my radar. It has exploded in popularity due to its captivating unisex scent profile of sweetness, fruitiness, amberwood, and florals. Let’s take a quick look and find out what I think about it overall.
Mancera Instant Crush contains notes of bergamot, saffron, amberwood, ginger, and rose. I can also smell vanilla, woods, musk, and fruits.
How Does Mancera Instant Crush Smell?
When first sprayed on skin I can distinctly pick up several notes. The citrusy fruits are first noticeable and provide an initial burst of freshness. Alongside them are notes of ginger, rose, and saffron. The ginger in this fragrance provides a satisfying spicy kick. Additionally, the rose and saffron add a resinous, floral dimension to the fragrance.
Don’t let the inclusion of rose misguide you! It is very wearable for a man and works just as well as it does in a cologne like Creed Viking.
As the scent dries, the amber, vanilla, woods, and musk become more pronounced. The best way to describe what scent these accords form is ‘burnt sugar’. The concoction is addictively sweet and smells incredible in the air.
In some ways, Instant Crush reminds me of another popular Mancera cologne, Cedrat Boise. It has similar sweet fruits combined with an undertone of woods. However, Instant Crush goes in a different direction with the amber and vanilla, providing that deliciously sweet ‘burnt sugar-like’ aroma.
Overall, imagine a unisex scent that’s fruity, floral and a little spicy, rounded out by amberwood and a sweet vanilla note. That’s what you’re getting here with Mancera Instant Crush.
Longevity and Projection
I get great projection off my skin for the first 3-4 hours. Then, once it settles, Instant Crush lasts a gigantic 12+ hours on my skin in total. Furthermore, I sprayed it on a tester strip to complete this review, and could distinctly smell it on the strip 48 hours later.
Occasions and Versatility
I can’t help but find myself viewing Mancera Instant Crush as a superb casual scent. This is outstanding to wear if you’re planning to catch up with friends or go on a laid-back coffee date.
Have a look what this reviewer thinks about this scent:
A sweeter, more citrus take on BR540. Definitely not a clone, but this has a similar airy, burnt sugar vibe. On my skin, this leans more masculine than feminine, while BR540 is more unisex. The mandarin and bergamot are very prominent in the opening, but becomes softer in the drydown. The performance is good, I get around 7-8 hours. Crazy sillage.Fragrantica.com

It forms an irresistible scent bubble and can be pulled off easily by men or women. It comes in an EDP concentration in both 60ml and 120ml bottles.
