Lattafa Khamrah (Review): WAY More Than a Clone
Lattafa Khamrah is a cologne for men released in 2022. The UAE brand Lattafa Perfumes are the mastermind creators behind this scent. Khamrah is often cited as an affordable alternative to the luxurious niche cologne Kilian Angels’ Share. Although there’s similarities, this isn’t an identical clone, independently standing as an indulgent gourmand aroma. Read on for my full thoughts.
Lattafa Khamrah smells like warm gourmand sweetness and resinous woods
Lattafa Khamrah contains praline, dates, cinnamon, nutmeg, bergamot, vanilla, tonka bean, resins, and amberwood.
The caramelised praline accord is noticeable straight away. Although listed as a heart note, you’ll find its gourmand sweetness permeating from the very beginning. It also features a boozy rum-like facet that comes from the fruity dates.
A mixture of spices appears alongside. Cinnamon and nutmeg are prominent, diffusing warm, sweet spiciness amongst the praline.
Bergamot resides behind this delectable combination. It infuses a feint sparkling texture that synergises with the booziness, similar to Kilian Angels’ Share. However, it doesn’t hang around for too long.
Yeah, there’s a lot happening in the opening, with 5 ingredients working in luscious unity. And as the scent develops, you’ll see some changes happen:
- The gourmand praline essence starts to withdraw. It’s replaced with a duo of vanilla and tonka bean, combining into a syrupy, nutty sweetness; and
- Resinous accords drift amongst the blend, providing additional warmth and cozy depth.
Lastly, the scent fully dries down. The vanillic-tonka sweetness continues, as do the resins. However, an underlying amberwood accord also joins them. It mixes in its own woody, musky aroma.
In summary, Lattafa Khamrah smells like an intoxicatingly sweet gourmand elixir. The early focus is a warm, sugary praline accord. Then it settles down, with a dark resinous vanilla and woody aroma coming to the fore.
I definitely understand why this is touted as another Angels’ Share dupe. I would say Khamrah is much more nutty, with that praline really coming through, and quite a bit sweeter. There’s a lot of creaminess to it. The nutmeg starts coming out quick and strong, it’s very identifiable. It smells absolutely scrumptious, edible and alluring without being overwhelming.

Admirable performance for the cost
Khamrah performs strongly, especially given its affordable price.
Specifically, it projects moderately from skin for the first 5 hours, before subsiding closer for another 7. Therefore, you can expect an impressive total of 12 hours lasting power.
Spray it on clothes for even more longevity and to elicit an enticing scent cloud.
Perfectly worn in the cold
Lattafa Khamrah undoubtedly works best in moderate to cold temperatures.
In those climates, wear it to social outings with friends, coffee catch ups, or running errands.
However, its delicious energy is most effective for romantic rendezvous and date nights. It’ll be near impossible for your companion to resist being drawn into your bubble.
Thus, I think it compares pretty closely to Armani Stronger With You Intensely.
In Conclusion – Lattafa Khamrah
Lattafa Khamrah is one of my biggest surprises this year.
Khamrah is all quality and goes so much further than what clones are supposed to.
This bewitching elixir leans into gourmand fruity sweetness, before becoming resinous and woody over time. It’s rich and enticing, perfect for those chilly intimate situations.
I can’t wait for you to try it.
