Dior Homme Sport is BETTER Than Expected (Review)
Dior Homme Sport is a cologne for men that first dropped in 2012. It’s part of the Dior Homme line of fragrances, famed for their classy and refined smell. However, the name Sport presents this as a recreational scent. That couldn’t be further from the truth. In today’s review, I’ll go into more detail about the 2017 version of Sport and why it’s way better than the label suggests.
Dior Homme Sport smells like citruses, composed spices and powdery woods
The ingredients in Dior Homme Sport include blood orange, grapefruit, lemon, pear, pink pepper, nutmeg, sandalwood, and vetiver.
Firstly, the scent opens with a pronounced citrusy aroma. The blood orange accord is partly responsible, exhibiting its distinct, tangy, berry-like freshness.

Performance is surprising
For a fresh scent, I wasn’t expecting miracles in the performance department. Nevertheless, Dior Homme Sport impressed me.
Specifically, it projects from skin moderately for the first 2 hours. Then it settles closer for another 5, lasting up to 7 hours in total.
Dior Homme Sport’s lasting power is well above average for a citrus-based scent. You have to give the brand props for that.
Way more versatile than expected
As I hinted at earlier, the name doesn’t paint the full picture of this scent’s versaility. “Just a sporty fragrance”, people say.
They couldn’t be more wrong. Don’t let them limit your imagination. Dior Homme Sport is so much more than just a ‘sporty’ cologne.
Accordingly, this can be worn to dressy social events, the workplace, and even daytime dates. Its bright, pleasant character is tempered by deeper polished notes that allow for tons for flexibility.
And seasonally, I recommend this most for the warmer and moderate months.
