Club de Nuit Intense Man PARFUM Reviewed (2024 Updated)
Club de Nuit Intense Man Parfum is a cologne for men released in 2022. It’s a flanker of the popular Club de Nuit Intense Man EDT, known for similarities to Creed Aventus. However, I think this Parfum edition is a clever improvement on its predecessor. Read on and I’ll explain.
Club de Nuit Intense Man Parfum like a fresh, rich citrus aroma with woods and musk
Club de Nuit Intense Man Parfum contains several ingredients including pineapple, lemon, bergamot, black currant, apple, birch, musk, and patchouli.
First, the aroma opens with a burst of citruses, including pineapple, lemon and a touch of bergamot. They smell fresh and zesty, invigorating the senses immediately.
Here, the lemon is hugely dialled down compared to the original Club de Nuit Intense Man EDT. In the EDT it’s astringent and harsh to the nose early on. That’s isn’t the case here, with the sharp lemon much more controlled.
A tandem of fruits accompanying them. Black currant and apple are most noticeable to me, infusing a tart, sweet, and juicy element.
As the Parfum develops some changes happen:
- The early citrus strength slowly subsides, mostly the lemon and bergamot. However, remnants of the pineapple endure.
- A birch note becomes prominent. It smells woody and smoky – and when combined with pineapple, elicits clear comparisons to Creed Aventus.
During the dry down, the tart fruits and lemon peel back further. The smoky pineapple continues pulsing, accompanied by emerging musk and patchouli. These two new notes provide a creamy, earthy density that deepens things nicely.
In summary, Club de Nuit Intense Man Parfum smells like spirited citruses and tart fruits. Then it becomes woodier and smokier, before composed base notes thicken the tonic. Despite the initial energy, it’s always smooth and poised, a creamier and less abrasive interpretation of its predecessor.

I have both the Parfum and the regular EDT. The EDT is unusable for me due to the harsh opening. The Parfum *dramatically* improved this issue to the point where the opening is actually a strength. It opens with a juicy, smoky pineapple and gradually dries down to smooth, almost creamy patchouli. The smoky pineapple lingers in the background through the life of the scent.

Astounding longevity
Although it possesses slightly softer projection than previous versions, the longevity is nothing short of awesome.
Specifically, it projects moderately from skin for the first 4 hours. Then the scent sits closer for another 7. Therefore, it boasts up to 11 hours of lasting power.
Like the whole Club de Nuit Intense Man range, only a madman would get trigger happy, so beware over spraying.
Versatile like its peers
Clue de Nuit Intense Man Parfum is applicable to a raft of situations. In that sense it aligns to the original, and is also comparable to colognes like Mont Blanc Explorer.
Firstly, it can be worn casually, such as errand running, social outings, or to class/university. It’s also great for daytime dates when the vibe is chill and relaxed.
Additionally, it works wonders on nights out, especially in warmer weather. Just imagine a scent with this name that can’t be worn on the dancefloor. Travesty, right?
