This scent has an interesting backstory – it’s inspired by a famous novella, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Named after the prince’s asteroid home, B-612 was created to mirror the wonder and imagination of the book.

B-612 smells bright and aromatic, thanks to notes of lavender, cypress, and geranium. Then, a very interesting and exotic cashmeran, woody texture comes forth. It’s unlike anything I’ve smelled before – like a fuzzy, ethereal haze. Afterwards, when it dries down, the familiar fougere elements of musk, oakmoss and sweet tonka arise.

Pasha de Cartier isn’t a new fragrance. In fact, it’s been out for over 30 years. Although when I discovered it recently, I was completely blown away.

It’s a masterful homage to fougeres, reimagined with a contemporary twist. The opening is fresh and invigorating, thanks to lavender, mint, and a splash of citrus. As it settles, the heart reveals an array of spices and rosewood. Finally, you’ll smell some oakmoss and sandalwood that’s deepened by patchouli.

Pasha de Cartier EDT is a gentlemanly statement maker. Imagine walking into a room leaving a trail of sophistication in your wake. This is the fragrance for men who love tradition but aren’t afraid to stand out. It’s powerful yet approachable, classic yet modern – a cologne that encapsulates the ethos of the brand.

Maison Margiela At The Barber’s

When Maison Margiela created their Replica line of fragrances, they set out with a very clear agenda. They sought to create aromas that reminded you of memories and aroused deep emotions.

At The Barber’s does exactly that. This fragrance recreates the iconic experience of visiting your local, reliable barber.

It smells exactly like you’d expect an actual barbershop to smell. Very fresh spicy, very aromatic. There’s plenty of lavender, pepper and musk. Also, basil and rosemary add a masculine, herbal touch. Lastly, moss contributes green, earthen tones in the dry down. It gives me really satisfying ‘shaving foam’ vibes.

Roja Danger Parfum Cologne

Dangerous not for those wearing it, but for those who smell it on them.

That’s a comment from the brand about Danger Parfum Cologne. It’s billed as a sensual aphrodisiac that you’re dared to breath in deeper.

However, I disagree. There’s nothing dangerous or overtly sexy about this scent. Nevertheless, it is a phenomenal aroma that oozes class and elegance.

Danger opens with lavender and a medley of citruses like lemon, creating an aromatic and invigorating freshness. As it evolves, you’ll smell several rich floral notes and spicy tones of clove and cumin. Then, the base is absolutely loaded with depth and sophistication. The accords I pick out are oakmoss, musk, patchouli, and woods.

Roja Danger is for the man who knows his worth. It’s a luxe and distinguished stately fragrance. Very polished, refined, and bursting with quality.
